TERMS
General terms and conditions
Contract for digital wedding albums (YourWedding.pics)
Effective: 31 August 2026
3.1 Scope and provider
These terms apply to contracts between the consumer and ARTR, Einzelunternehmen, Uferstr. 3, 48529 Nordhorn, email [email protected], for the YourWedding.pics service (private guest albums with QR/link upload). Deviating customer terms do not apply.
3.2 Description of services
We provide a private online album. Guests do not need an account. Plans: - Free: limited storage, deletion 28 days after the wedding date. - Keepsake: expanded storage, 12 months retention, extendable by an extra year. - Heirloom: expanded storage, retained until the host deletes the album. - Extra year: extends a Keepsake album by 12 months. Current storage volumes and list prices appear in the in-service price overview. The service is digital; there is no physical delivery.
3.3 Conclusion of contract
The album is created when the host completes the creation flow. Paid packages require a host account. The contract for a paid package is formed when the host submits the order with the withdrawal confirmation and we enable the service or redirect to Stripe Checkout. Stripe payment processing is additionally subject to Stripe’s terms.
3.4 Prices and small-business scheme
All prices are final prices. Under the small-business scheme pursuant to section 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG), no VAT is charged or shown. There are no shipping costs.
3.5 Payment
Payments via Stripe Checkout in euro. A 100% discounted voucher unlocks the package without a payment flow; the digital content is still provided immediately.
3.6 Provision and retention
Album features are available immediately after activation. Retention periods: see § 3.2 and the privacy notice. After expiry or deletion, content cannot be restored.
3.7 Duties of the host and guests
The host must ensure that only authorised guests receive the link/QR. Only content may be uploaded for which the necessary rights exist and which does not infringe third-party rights or criminal law. We may hide content or block albums if a material legal violation appears likely.
3.8 Copyright in photographs
Rights in recordings remain with the respective authors or rightholders. The host and guests grant us only the use needed for operation, storage, display and host-triggered downloads/ZIP exports. We do not use content for the provider’s advertising.
3.9 Liability
Unlimited for intent and gross negligence. For simple negligence we are liable only for injury to life, body or health and for breach of material contractual duties; in the latter case limited to foreseeable, typical damage. Product-liability law remains unaffected. For the unpaid Free plan, the statutory limits for gratuitous services apply.
3.10 Withdrawal
The withdrawal information at /widerruf applies. For paid digital content the withdrawal right may lapse early under the conditions stated there if the host expressly consents to performance starting before the period ends and confirms loss of the withdrawal right.
3.11 Consumer dispute resolution
The European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025. We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
3.12 Governing law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of the state where the consumer has their habitual residence remain unaffected.
3.13 Severability
If a provision is invalid, the remainder of the contract remains effective.
